There are on-going issues at Cornmill Lane playing fields, due to dog fouling. The Parish Council are in the process of resolving these matters. read more

Tutbury Parish Council welcome’s new Parish Councillor - Lesley Beighton. Lesley was co-opted onto the Parish Council at the 16 January 2017 meeting.


Tutbury Parish Council is looking for a street cleaner to keep designated areas in Tutbury reasonably free from litter and weeds, to clean the red telephone box at the junction of High Street and Duke St, to disinfect bus shelters as an when necessary.


Additional duties shall comprise gardening and strimming footpaths such as the Closed Bank (Cornmill Lane footpath), edging and planting of community areas for Best Kept Village competition.  


Contract duration will be 12 months.
